Yogyakarta is a particular city in Indonesia. It has been the capital of this country for three years, during the proclamation of independence in 1946. Yogyakarta (Yogya or, Djogja) is still a province ruled by a sultan who has more political power. Art and cultural center of Java, Yogyakarta is the benchmark for Batik, silver, and is often associated to Javanese culture conservation (Gamelan, Javanese dance). Within 40 km around Yogyakarta, there are fifty temples mostly dating from the 9th century. The largest Hindu temple is "Prambanan" and his Buddhist counterpart "Borobudur", are both World Heritage Site by Unesco. Those are in the program that will be shown in two days.
